These are from my current sketchbook, studies from American Illustration 27 and some drawings from when I was taking a walk in a Mount Vernon neighborhood.

Hobgoblin

For my concept art class we had to read "the snow queen" (the first story about the looking glass) and then come up with character designs for the hobgoblin mentioned in the story.

The image below is my version of the hobgoblin. He is about 3 feet tall and makes a lot of noise in the form of grunts and scoffs. He has four arms, two of which he uses to make inventions and the other two he usually uses to scratch his head or gesticulate in frustration.

I haven't posted anything in a while and I feel a little funny about it.

So I will post more often then, I suppose.

I ran over a rat this summer with my friend Michael in a pick-up truck.
