2 New Fools

Something old and something recent.

A snake cut out from an opera brochure. Taiwan, January 2, 2011. We were in a cafeteria next to a bakery.

In the past two months I've managed witness 3 hammers break. What the hell is going on? I took it as a metaphor that nothing in my life really works the way it is supposed to. Who's making these shitty things anyways?

Dino Volcano

A quick collage inspired by Ae Hyun Shin.

Rise of the New Groupthink

This escalator piece is based off of Susan Cain's Op. article in the Sunday Review of the New York Times. The article talks about the advantages and mostly the disadvantages of working in group settings. The link below will bring you to her!

I really loved the illustrations by Andy Rementer, which you can view through the link:

I drew this on April 1st and I think April Fools is a fitting title for it.

QUETZACOATL for CORIMA

This is a gouache painting of the Aztec god, Quetzacoatl for a friend's band back in Los Angeles. They are called Corima and they are a fine group of people. They have a new album coming up and I recommend putting your ears to it!

Unless you are deaf of course.
